Serebii, O & The Mo,Heavy Chest
Raglan dwellers are in for a sonic treat this Anzac Weekend, with a stacked triple bill of talent from Tāmaki Makaurau and beyond. Heavy Chest, O & The Mo, and Serebii join forces for a rare one-off show that city slickers would be envious of. This is your chance to catch some of Aotearoa’s most exciting indie acts that are turning heads on a global stage. Don’t sleep on it.
HEAVYCHEST is the music project of Aotearoa songwriter Andre Smith, founded in 2015. Since the release of his debut album PREHEAT in 2017, the project has taken many forms, shifting through different sounds and collaborations while remaining anchored in Smith’s songwriting. Currently performing solo, he presents intimate live shows alongside a steady output of self-produced music. In 2025 Smith was invited to undertake a music residency in the French Alps, where he created his latest record Ascend - a collection of songs blending introspective storytelling with indie-folk songwriting. The residency was followed by a run of shows across Europe and the UK, most recently supporting Mild Orange on an extensive tour, before returning home to Aotearoa ahead of another stint overseas later this year.
Returning to Raglan for the first time since supporting The Babe Rainbow last April, dreamy songwriting duo O & The Mo bring a stripped-back set of acoustic instrumentation, live looping and sampling. Emerging from Wellington, their sound sits between indie-dream pop, neo-psychedelia and cinematic folk. Fresh from touring Australia with Σtella, the duo will play songs from their 2025 album Make Way For The Sun - swooning with guitars, soft vocal harmonies and lo-fi drum machine rhythms which unfold into gently hypnotic, quietly transportive songs.
Serebii is the project of Tāmaki Makaurau producer and multi-instrumentalist Callum Joshua Mower. Blending electronic production with live instrumentation, the project sits somewhere between alt-pop, dance music and experimental songwriting, with a sound that feels tactile, immediate and quietly futuristic. For this special show, Serebii will perform with his full band.
